React Job: Full Stack Java Developer - VP

Citi is seeking an experienced full-stack engineer to join CTI group. We are looking for experienced full-stack software engineers who are passionate about solving business problems through innovation and best in class engineering practices. The candidate will be responsible for writing code, pairing with other developers as appropriate, and decomposing acceptance criteria to understand team backlog deliverables, complexities, and risks while working as a strong contributor on an agile team.

This role supports the Technology Reference Data team for Citi technology Infrastructure CTI.

A fundamental corner stone for CTI vision is to enable a consistent, reliable, and standardized technology reference and inventory platform. You will work with a team of software engineers who will build the tech and reference inventory platforms. The platform will bring together all the application and infrastructure data across the private cloud, and the public clouds Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Microsoft Azure.

Qualifications:

• Good track record of relevant experience in design and development of Java-based systems.
• Experience with real-time messaging and ingestion e.g. Apache Kafka
• Solid understanding of front-end technologies such as Angular or ReactJS
• Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate)
• Passionate believer in the value of continuous integration, testing and deployment following a test-driven development (TDD) approach
• Ability to work in distributed teams across multiple time zones
• Quick learner of new tools and technologies

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
